About Me

My photo
I am a 42 year old woman that is about as happy and content as one person can be. My husband of 21 years and our 15 year old daughter live on five and a half acres out in the country. We moved from the city four years ago and never looked back. I homeschool our daughter. We also love our animals. Our daughter has a miniature horse and two rabbits. We also have a border collie, two cats (again), two pot belly pigs, four peafowl, three emus, 2 llamas and an undetermined number of chickens, lets just say ohhh about 200. I have many breeds, from layers to fancy chickens. I love poultry shows, I love fowl in general as I have come to find out through having more than just chickens. Chickens will always be my first love though. I do show some of my birds occasionally.

Time To Get Busy

I love this guy. Craig Morgan. I have both of his CDs...and I have to say, I like every song on both of them. That is rare to like all the songs on a CD. I just like his voice. Ian says this song is corny and Shelby says she has been brain washed into liking it because I play his latest CD while cleaning the house...that is her excuse for liking it...lol.

I was going to post a slower song, one song that I love, but it is a little depressing, so I dont put that one on here today.

Alright, no more fooling around, time to get to work...I got plenty to do around here! Enjoy the video and I will be back with some pictures.

Have a great weekend!

Here is a homemade video someone did with this song...if you like to look at tractors..this is for you!

Kelly, I sure enjoyed this entry.  I like that song, too.  Colt sings it all the time.  Cliff needs to see the last video.....I think he's a John Deere man though.  He'd probably enjoy seeing the tractors though.

I'll come back to these, not on my broadband right now.  Sitting in the living room with the laptop on dial up!  Watching/listening to the BudShootout.

Cats are actually easier to get adopted.  They seem to fly off the shelf so to speak.  People think cat, they think lower matience than a dog.  What they don't think about is the clawing, the peeing out of the cat box, cleaning the cat box, etc.  But all in all I guess my cats cause me less work than the dogs.  With dogs you have to house train them, play with them, make sure they don't leave the yard (sometimes even if it is fenced) and some dogs are needy (I have two) and it means that they're always in your face.  We almost never leave an adoption event without adopting out at least one dog and three cats.  Unfortunately, we can only have the events on the weekends.

I saw Craig Morgan in person four years ago at the state fair.  I recall him saying that on every CD he tries to do at least one old-time-country honky-tonk song, and one patriotic song.

It is very rare to enjoy every song on a CD...I own every cd of Britney (yes, Britney!) lol  And I have to say I love every song on all her cd's even her new one! lol  I'm not sure what it is with her music but it really gets me going. Maybe it makes me feel young again?! HA!

LOL now thats some tractors. My grandson loves tractors. He just hasn't figured out yet the building out back on the farm houses them all. LOL. It's all over when that happens.
Glad you enjoy that CD so much and it sure helps to clean when you're listening to something that you like makes it more fun.
Take care, Chrissie
