About Me

My photo
I am a 42 year old woman that is about as happy and content as one person can be. My husband of 21 years and our 15 year old daughter live on five and a half acres out in the country. We moved from the city four years ago and never looked back. I homeschool our daughter. We also love our animals. Our daughter has a miniature horse and two rabbits. We also have a border collie, two cats (again), two pot belly pigs, four peafowl, three emus, 2 llamas and an undetermined number of chickens, lets just say ohhh about 200. I have many breeds, from layers to fancy chickens. I love poultry shows, I love fowl in general as I have come to find out through having more than just chickens. Chickens will always be my first love though. I do show some of my birds occasionally.

Here I Am, Again

Well, I am so sorry. The computer flubbed up again...not because of the virus, but there were corrupted files and windows wouldnt start...what a headache. I am going to get my journal updated...have had a lot going on as you may have guessed. Unfortunately some bad. Some good too...pictures and video to follow the good. Alright, I smell the coffee is ready. I am ready to catch this journal up and ohhh yeah...I have 431 emails...whew. Some are freecycle alerts...but I imagine about half of them are alerts from y'alls journals! ;)

So you been having problems too. Me too with my windows also. Took us forever to get it straighten out. We switched from Internet Explorer to using Mozilla Firefox and love it. People have been telling me to get off Windows and use Linus, but I'm not that brave yet. They say Firefox and Linus are very low in getting viruses.
I wondered when I saw a comment from you before how come I wasn't getting alerts from you. I went to check my computer and for some reason my alerts were messed up and yours was off. So sorry I haven't been by the visit. I need to put journals in my sidebar and not depend on alerts, but haven't done it yet.
Glad to hear that there are at least some good things to go with the bad. It's been the same way over my way, but such is life.
Hope you have a great day.
Take care, Chrissie
