- I am a 42 year old woman that is about as happy and content as one person can be. My husband of 21 years and our 15 year old daughter live on five and a half acres out in the country. We moved from the city four years ago and never looked back. I homeschool our daughter. We also love our animals. Our daughter has a miniature horse and two rabbits. We also have a border collie, two cats (again), two pot belly pigs, four peafowl, three emus, 2 llamas and an undetermined number of chickens, lets just say ohhh about 200. I have many breeds, from layers to fancy chickens. I love poultry shows, I love fowl in general as I have come to find out through having more than just chickens. Chickens will always be my first love though. I do show some of my birds occasionally.

I tried to listen, but it didn't work for me or I was doing something wrong. I heard your Daddy before and he's good, I'm not really into country, but I enjoy all kinds of music. I do love some of the old country I guess you would say classics. My mother only listened to country all her life. She was a big time country girl in every way.

Couldn't get it to play. I must be doing something wrong. Poor chickens getting cut on. Have not really been one to be interested in chickens but they sure look pretty and clean. Some of them have beautiful colors. Wishing you a great week with blessings, Janie

Well, we should hook your Dad up with my Pop. He is also a singer. He has his whole spare bedroom full of his music equipment and is part of a group on Yahoo Messenger where they all sing. They use their webcams and microphones and such. Your Dad sings beautiful!!!! I was raised on music...all country and folk music. Your Dad would probably have a blast being able to pick and sing with others from all over.
He has such a great voice!

Hey Kelly, this is Daddy, thanks for more entries on your journal about
my songs,, I still apologize, that it takes some trouble to play these things
but those of you who are able to play them, and like them I thank you so
much for your nice comments.. that site is less than desirable,, but it will
work, you have to click on it, and WAIT, like maybe even 5 minutes on some
of them.. it plays a bit a time,, but after it plays it all, it will then replay full
what I dont understand is that one or two of these songs plays immediately
no trouble,, oh well thanks again to you and your friends, hope they
will keep trying to play them and leave me some comments.. love you
