hnkytnkwmn3 !!!!
Congratulations! I have three India Blue peachicks, and one white peachick! They are two months old. I have wanted to get these birds for so long. Looking for a year and a half or so. They are so expensive because most breeders won't sell a young bird. The only ones you see for sale are six months or older. An adult pair can go for as little as a hundred dollars if you are really lucky, but usually they run anywhere between 150 and 300 dollars depending on where you look. I got these four sweeties for ninety dollars yesterday.
I will elaborate on the story more in another entry, but I thought it would be fun for everyone to guess what they might be with their little twiggy heads. :) Here are pictures of them in the carrier right after we got them home yesterday. Aren't they so sweet? Their eyes are HUGE...like eyes on a deer...so deep and innocent.
hnkytnkwmn3...if you would please send me your name and address through my email...I would like to send you something special for guessing what the new addition to my little farm was. :) Thankyou everyone for guessing and playing...and Jim, you are just a hoot! You make me laugh...lol.
