About Me

My photo
I am a 42 year old woman that is about as happy and content as one person can be. My husband of 21 years and our 15 year old daughter live on five and a half acres out in the country. We moved from the city four years ago and never looked back. I homeschool our daughter. We also love our animals. Our daughter has a miniature horse and two rabbits. We also have a border collie, two cats (again), two pot belly pigs, four peafowl, three emus, 2 llamas and an undetermined number of chickens, lets just say ohhh about 200. I have many breeds, from layers to fancy chickens. I love poultry shows, I love fowl in general as I have come to find out through having more than just chickens. Chickens will always be my first love though. I do show some of my birds occasionally.

Time To Do Stuff

If you visit Lisa over on Life on a Bison Farm you may have noticed she hasnt posted in a while. There is a reason for that. She is super busy tending her animals and things that need doing.

This is what I need to be doing. I need to be taking a little break from sitting at the computer and get some things around here in order.

There are some things indoors and outdoors both...that I have put off and not gotten done like I wanted to.

I have GOT to get these things done before winter and cooler weather.

So, I am going to be scarce around here for a little while. I don't want to say how long, but at least for a week or so.

I am just writing this entry so you will know where I went, and that I am fine, and will be back. If anything exciting happens I will be sure to post it when I get back.

I think I will take pictures of what I need to do, and what I did do so when I get back and can sit down and relax you can see that I really was working hard. ;)

Everyone take care...and I will see you when I get back. XOXOXOXOXOX Kelly

Yuo, I sent Lisa an email the other day to see if everything was ok.  She told me she had just been busy.  I will be in that mode in another week or so.  We are leaving here around the 22nd of Sept for southern California for about 6 weeks, so will have to get things in order before I leave.  Looking forward to any updates you have time for. I have been cleaning the garage and shed. I can clean the house and shred papers when the snow is blowing! lol I have about an hour left on the small shed and then the garage and shed both are DONE!! WooHoo! Lot of work but it sure feels great to have them done. Oh... I still have a lot of work left but inside. I have done it right by just taking my time but being faithful to keep going. :-) Hope you get all those things done before cold weather. Blessings, Janie

Real life must, at times, take precedence over the Internet.  See you when you return.
