About Me

My photo
I am a 42 year old woman that is about as happy and content as one person can be. My husband of 21 years and our 15 year old daughter live on five and a half acres out in the country. We moved from the city four years ago and never looked back. I homeschool our daughter. We also love our animals. Our daughter has a miniature horse and two rabbits. We also have a border collie, two cats (again), two pot belly pigs, four peafowl, three emus, 2 llamas and an undetermined number of chickens, lets just say ohhh about 200. I have many breeds, from layers to fancy chickens. I love poultry shows, I love fowl in general as I have come to find out through having more than just chickens. Chickens will always be my first love though. I do show some of my birds occasionally.

I Am Just OFF Today...

I wrote down all the best pictures, the numbers to the pictures...except I did it off the camera's program. So once I backed up the pictures to a folder, the numbers werent the same. DUHHHH...so when I loaded all those pictures in the last entry...some of them werent even the right ones...lol..that is why some are blurry...they weren't supposed to be on there...so..I am loading the ones I was supposed to now...here are a few...

They are so sweet.  It looks like they are hiding in the grass.  I'm  amazed at how quickly they are growing.  I'm glad the the Lieutenant isn't dead.

So pretty. Every time I see your chicken waterers (is that a word) I think of when we lived on the ranch and used those to mix some liquid stuff named "Tom Cat" with water for the rats. Paula
