Shelby loves him more than I do, she didnt want to put him down to have her lunch! ;)
After a few days of taming him down he is struggling less when picked up and beginning to love attention. He is not afraid when you reach down and pet him on the back while he is walking around. He will eat from my hand now. I took him out in the garden area since it is fenced off from the rest of the yard. He is still small and could get through the hog wire on the outer main fencing of the back.
I will be taking pictures of the girls soon.

He is so cute. That is a very good picture of Shelby holding him. I would think that guina scared him to death with all the racket they make. Thanks for showing pictures of him. How could that woman forget she was supposed to pick up a baby emu. That doesn't sound true. Glad that you are getting it to go with the rest of the family. Helen
How sweet they are!
hugs, Bethe
I can understand how Shelby feels he is lovely ~ and it is a great picture of the two of them together ~ Ally x
The chicken looks as if she's thinking "What in the world is that?"
LOL Love how the chicken is checking him out! And that baby is just adorable! I hope to see video of them soon ;)

Love the pictures, now want an EMU, but good sense and a fear of the pyshc ward for the birdaholic adddictive. I would be ran out of East Point, I guess when the urge get too much I will have to come to see you and spend time with Boo, Baby and Betty Boop, (notice the sligh way of suggesting a name for the lucky number three baby?) The rain here today was a quiet long spring shower, nothing terrible just a lazy want to sleep kind of day. Hope all is going well with you and the neighbors, sending good wishes and prayers for all those affected by the storms. Take care and enjoy the joy only animals can bring.
Now you do know he needs his own little bed with covers. Maybe twin beds for he and Shelby. Wouldn't that be cute? I love him. Paula
Again, I love him. I don't blame you for taking the other girl, I would have to but you know that already. ;)
